Blue is without doubt a chic colour, which evokes  serenity, elegance, and luxury. It can be used in all decorating styles and rooms, from living room and kitchen to kid’s bedroom and bathroom. If you love blue, then you have probably heard about blue denim (see photos 4 to 6). It’s a mix of blue and grey, which was worth being chosen as colour of the year 2017. It’s a timeless and neutral colour, and can be easily combined with various other colours and materials. It makes a beautiful contrast with white but it also matches perfectly with  wood, making  a space cosier. If you prefer  something more playful and modern, then you should use vivid colours, such as yellow, red and green, in the furniture, accessories and textile. Another interesting combination would be the one of a blue denim wall with gold or copper lights or with a cognac colour sofa. All in all, blue denim is a great and easily combined colour which will not disappoint you.
